Concept – A fun filled day of wakeboard demos, coaching sessions, live music, beer and food stalls. Culminating with a TEAM wakeboard Challenge and BBQ to finish the day
Team Wakeboard Challenge
Riders will be encouraged to form and enter their own teams. Maybe a Slingshot or a DUP team, or maybe a Gold Coast or Bayside team? Or maybe just a bunch of mates? Or maybe a couple of families. It up to you to get excited and get organised!
There will be no individual awards
Teams should consist of up to 12 riders with 1 rider in each category – Grom girl and boy. U13 girl and boy. U17 girl and boy. Amatuer man and women. Wakeskater. Open Woman and Open Man. And a Dodgy Dad!
From the 12 categories only the best 7 scores will be used so its possible to win even without a full team!!
Jam style format with 1 air trick section (same as grass roots). 8 minutes on the water.
Originality, fun and crowd reactions will be taken into account when scoring. As well as best presented and most entertaining team
$100 entry per team! Winning team takes $1000 and prizes!!
So go ahead and get your teams together. Get excited!!
Maximum 9 teams can enter – so first in best dressed!
