Operating Procedures and Memberships

Wakeboarding – SUMMER –  Open Monday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. The Front Lake is open (std speed) every day 10am to 5pm. The Back Lake (slow speed) is generally open Thur and Fri 2pm to 5pm and weekends 10am to 5pm (as well as every day during all school holiday periods)

Wakeboarding WINTER – Open Thur and Fri 12pm to 5pm. Sat and Sun 10am to 5pm.  Closed Mon to Wed….The Back lake (slow speed) opens Thur and Fri from 2pm to 5pm and Sat and Sun 10am to 5pm

Wakeboarding is run by sessions. A wakeboarding session is 55 minutes long and runs every hour on the hour. Riders may  book for a maximum of 3 sessions per day during summer and 2 sessions during winter. Numbers are limited on both front and back lakes and are controlled from reception by a wrist band system. The front lake will generally run at standard speed. The back lake will generally run at slow speed. (During summer these operating speeds may switch from 4pm to 5pm every Saturday and Sunday). Riders can buy sessions on either lake of their choice but cannot swap between lakes during a session without reception approval. If you are late for your session your time cannot be extended

Bookings are essential via our booking/appointment system.  Bli Bli is using the Wakesys system of booking and operations. All riders will need to purchase a re-usuable environmentally friendly wristband ($8) which will become their identifier for all wakeboarding activities at Bli Bli. It must be worn and scanned at the dock by ALL riders in order for the machine to accept you. It will be tied to booked riding times and will enable lap limits and capacity controls to be easily observed. It can also be pre-loaded with cash and used for purchases at the Cafe or pro shop. All riders will need to create a new online account and complete a new waiver form, prior to purchasing and activating their wrist band. Riders with wristbands will no longer need to go to reception to check in and may go direct to the starting dock on each visit. All riders need to book – this includes members as well as the general public. Please only book if you are 100% sure of coming. Members that do not show up for bookings can be billed for the time at standard riding rates and may be blocked from making future bookings

Rental equipment is available. Wetsuit Hire is no longer available, but we do have a great range of wetsuits for sale in the Pro Shop. 

Parents or guardians must accompany any kids under 18, and must NOT drop their kids unattended……. 

Changerooms and toilets are available. Outside rinse off areas are also available. The Cafe and Licensed bar are also open. 

BBQ facilities are open but we ask that customers bring their own cooking utensils

KIDS CLUB runs all year round on Sunday mornings from 8.30am to 10am, plus additional days during school holiday periods and school terms. Please refer to the monthly schedule. A range of Summer/Winter Memberships are available and may be purchased from the link lower down on this page. They will be subject to the same riding limits and capacity controls as outlined above. 

BARRA FISHING – Summer hours are every day 7 days a week. 10am to 5pm. Winter hours are Thur and Fri 12pm to 5pm and Sat/Sun 10am to 5pm. Barra is closed Mon to Wed during Winter Season (June to August) 

Barra Fishing is now run in sessions. A fishing session is 2.5/3 hours long. Exact session duration may vary on public holidays and winter season. There is a morning session and an afternoon session. Numbers are limited in both sessions and are controlled from reception by a wrist band system. If you are late for your session time it cannot be extended. Fishing memberships are also available

Bookings for fishing are essential via our booking/appointment system. This includes members as well as the general public. 

Rod hire is available. All patrons are expected to leave promptly at the completion of their session time.  BBQs are available but we encourage all patrons to bring their own cooking utensils. Our Cafe and licensed bar is open at the neighbouring Wake Park.
