Whilst Barramundi are the main fishing species stocked you may also catch Bream, Mangrove Jack, Cod and numerous other species. Our fish range from 35cm to many well over 1 meter. We cater for all fishermen, from beginners and families to the experienced angler.

Fishing is now run in sessions, with 2 sessions per day of 2.5 – 3 hours duration. (Duration of sessions may vary on public holidays and in winter periods)
1 Morning Session and 1 Afternoon Session. Bookings are essential for all sessions

The Barra Fishing park is a great place to spend a few
hours, or even the entire day. 3 hour passes or day
passes are available with prices starting from $42
for adults and children alike. We are open all year round,
although the fish are less active in the winter. We are a
natural eco friendly environment and whilst we cannot
“guarantee” a catch we will do everything possible to
assist you.
Everyone entering the Barra Park - spectators and participants alike must sign our waiver/attendance form. Under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18) who signs the form for them
You will find everything you need at the park. Rod hire is included in your entry ticket price. Bait is an additional charge. Our rods are currently set up for pellet fishing or bait fishing, we also sell tackle and some frozen bait (prawns, pilchards and others). You are welcome to bring your own gear, but please all lure trebles must be de-barbed.
You may bring your own food and drinks but please
ensure no glass and no BYO alcohol. You can purchase food and drinks from
our kiosk or full service Café & Licensed bar. Located
in the adjacent Watersports Complex.
Experience the park in a whole new way with our Night Fishing sessions, fishing under the stars in a relaxed, after-hours setting. Our night events are a great way to enjoy Barra Park at a different time of day, with a unique atmosphere and plenty of action. Event dates are released and updated via our Bookings page, so be sure to check there for upcoming sessions. Private Night Fishing sessions are also available during the summer months.
